Food of Tajikistan
Tajik cooking shares Central Asian traditions with plov, bread, soups and green tea, with Persian influences. Qurutob, a dish of bread soaked in yogurt, is a regional specialty, and sambusa is a favorite snack. Mountain valleys give apricots, melons and walnuts.
