Food of Montenegro

Montenegrin cooking is a blend of the Adriatic and the mountains: fresh fish and seafood on the coast, smoked ham, cheese and lamb in the highlands. Hearty stews, cheese pies and kajmak are common, and meals are slow and sociable.
