Food of Isle of Man
Manx cooking is simple and coastal: queen scallops, kippers, herring, hill-bred lamb, potatoes and local cheddar. Traditional home baking includes bonnag and spiced cakes, and potatoes with herring was a classic daily meal. Seafood and dairy from the island are the pride of the kitchen.
