Food of Greenland
Greenlandic cuisine is shaped by the Arctic, with seafood and wild game central to the table. Cold-water fish such as Arctic char, cod and halibut, along with shrimp, mussels, lamb and reindeer, are served alongside root vegetables, berries and seaweed. Dried and smoked foods preserve the harvest through long winters.
